Worth seeing, but not worth going to see.
Review of Edinburgh Military Tattoo - Summer by Twotanks

Advantages: Situated in one of the UKs most beautiful cities
Disadvantages: Very cramped, uncomfortable seating.

Seating is very cramped, really narrow seats and very little leg room. Acoustics not as good as I thought they should be. If you are planning to go, try and get seats close to the arena to ensure you get the best experience. Weather was dreadful and it wo ... Read review

Maidenhead Odeon Cinema - stay away!!

Advantages: there wasn't any!
Disadvantages: no food or drink, dirty, screens didn't work, didn't show any of the top movies

[Funny this should be listed under "Edinburgh attractions" above] ~ anyhow ~ that is certainly an EXPENSIVE cinema as well! We normally pay about £4 or £5 ~ and then my husband gets in free as my "carer" at most cineworld (and other) cinemas (a good reason to take me along!) ~ ~ ~ l've not been in Maidenhead since mid 1980 when we moved from Marlow Bottom to Worcestershire ~ ~ ~ so it sounds like some changes have taken place since I was there ~ it used to be a nice place to visit and shop . . . . . . ♥ jesi ♥ by jesi

Ciao Roma - good food, terrible attitude
Review of Ciao Roma, Edinburgh by Flossiesdoll

Advantages: Good food
Disadvantages: Deliberate attempt to rip us off by overcharging

43 MAINCOURSES? Bloomin' heck. I was deliberating over wheather to rate your review SH or H. I decided on H as you have included some information, however for better reads and rates, adding more about the menu, the restaurant itself and specific prices would help . Thanks xx by SweetTooth93

Quick review of Howies, Edinburgh
Review of Howies, Edinburgh by Gemma73

The service was slow. The meals were nothing special. The restaurant is boomy and loud. I had dinner with a party of eight and no one particularly enjoyed their meal. I think a 5-star review represents a visit to a very different Howie's (Waterloo Place).

Quick review of Taste Good Chinese Restaurant, Edinburgh
Review of Taste Good Chinese Restaurant, Edinburgh by Stewart_H

We ordered a chow mein for delivery. It was the worst chinese we have ever had, and on top of this is cost 11 pounds for the chow mein, 2 spring rolls and 1 portion of prawn crackers. The noodles were over salted, dry and flavourless and the chicken was terrible. We have never written a review before but this was so bad we felt we should try and warn people so they wouldn't have the same bad experience we had.
