I LIKE MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY THE OWNERS OF GERSHWINS, THEY ARE SLIPPERY!! SERIOUS SMALL TIME CROOK!! As a restaurant experience its fairly typical of a small time place, not worth going for something exceptional!! the food is average the service is ok but i wouldnt blame the staff they work long hours and sometimes never see their wages... The owners run a night called hareem, this was renowned for the owners spiking the sheesha pipes, so i think you can imagine where the profits go... PLEASE BOYCOTT ALL THERE VENTURES, THEY NEED TO MEET KARMA!!!

Great Place To Stay We had a fantastic view out of our bay window across the bay with Slieve Donard on the right and the Isle of Man and Scotland ahead - the staff told us that 15 out of 16 rooms have this fantastic view. The bedrooms are newly decorated and very clean, as are the reception and dining room. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a small hotel and they seem to be working their way round it in doing it up - the front of the building is a bit run-down looking and this should be their priority. The location is close to the action but not too close!

Advantages: Compact city with plenty to see and do
Disadvantages: Binge drinking culture

My stuffed pepper starter was cold inside and had to be sent back. It was good food, but it is a pain having to ask for your food to be heated properly. The staff try to top your wine up every five minutes. I had asked for the crab ravioli and received a ricotta raviolo with a sea food sauce instead. I complained and they explained they had ran out of the crab. We were very disappointed with the service.

Been a couples time and going on sunday-cant wait, it is a once in a while treat for me! There portions are MASSIVE. Have the PMT is the most beautiful desert I have ever had! The wedges of bread you get are half a loaf of bread and the food is soo tasty and very filling. It is definalty worth go for the breakfasts as this is what they are known for. The atomosphere is so chilled out and relaxed. You would need to travel by car but it is definaly worth it!
