Quick review of New Ryton Hotel, Blackpool
Review of New Ryton Hotel, Blackpool by
carolmcalpine
Fantastic welcome every time we visit. Have made lots of great friends through the New Ryton Hotel.
Glynis & Dave are brillant hosts and Steve is a fantastic chef with all the food home cooked (change from most other hotels/guest houses in Blackpool).
At New Year there is a party with food laid on at 'The Bells' (it says a lot for Scots to come to Blackpool for New Year?).
We like to visit as often as we can every year - sometimes at short notice and Glynis is very accomodating in finding a room for us.
I would have no hesitattion iin recommending this hotel to anyone who wants good food, friendly welcome, entertainment and nice clean rooms.
Thanks to all
Carol & Jim x

Advantages: Gym, pool , friendly staff and good rooms.
Disadvantages: old T.V's , Not very good food and a bit 1950's decor.

Quick review of Lyndene Hotel, Blackpool
Review of Lyndene Hotel, Blackpool by
dglsb1967
we thought that the lyndene was a great hotel, the rooms were adequete and clean, with a good telly installed. the food was good with a good choice, my daughter asked for tuna sandwiches which were made, in fact a full plateful arrived ! never really seen much of the entertainment, was down one night watching the man u - celtic game and a singer came in who was in freddie and the dreamers (in the ninties) and kept on about this, see if i'm bothered and went up to the room. can be a pain if you dont bag a car space as the prom parking cost £8-50 a day, although free between 20:00 - 10:00. would come back here though.
