I would definitely NOT recommend to go to this place. It is dirty and there is no ventilation in the stuffy rooms. The small studio is very small and doesn't have a bed, you have to sleep on the couch. The big studio is actually a garage. One of the staff members harassed us, completely drunk, in the middle of the night by knocking on our "window". The hostel could be lovely, it is a shame it is run by people who don't understand hospitality services.

I stayed here for two nights. Rooms are nice and clean, but a bit small. The big advantae of this hotel: it has a small fridge and stove where you can warm up a meal. The breakfast is good, but nothing special. The staff was friendly and the hotel is very conveniently located between the beach and the city center. There are very good bus connections to either direction (including airport). The beach & city center are actually within walking distance (20-30 minutes walk).

Advantages: nice area of Marseille -not too far from the beach
Disadvantages: all shops & restaurents close early.
