Welcome to Ciao. A good start, but really needs more description to make it more helpful - you briefly mentioned the food, but didn't say what was on offer. This is advertised as a bed and breakfast. But i it is on the 4th FLOOR with NO LIFT! There is no mention of this in the website. No help with our luggage and breakfast is with a ticket in a bar across the road. Money was handed over on arrival, no receipt given. Just told to ring a number in case of emergency. Towels changed every 2 days! No tea and coffee facilities in room. Hot water machine on corridoor. Tea provide on first day only and no milk! complicated espresso machine with NO INSTRUCTIONS. Cleaner came daily but didn't clean! Owner barely greeted us thenext day, didn't even ask if everything was OK. Very little storage space.

Advantages: Cinema, Church, local shopping an cafes.
Disadvantages: Not too much for tourists.

I have only been to the colosseum once when I was about 11 years old and even then I found it truly amazing. BUT be careful of young children trying to sell old newspapers as they came up to my mum on the outside of the colosseum and tryed to put a newspaper over her bumbag and another one tryed to steal it from underneath! It is definetly worth going to see though, just thought I had better warn everyone as it was a bad experience for me as I was so young at the time. It would not put me off going to it again though just to stand there and know I am standing next to a part of history. Please do be careful whilst walking round though!
