Having been a resident there you obviously saw the real Naples and not the one all the tourist see. I'm sure there must be some good points you could put forward to make it a more balanced review though. Yes a little more detail. If near Rome make a visit to OSTIA ANTICA I thought that was better than Pompeii as it is in a better state, as it only silted up rather than being zapped by a volcano.Thnaks Steve by poshtroika

Advantages: Great to be able to say you've been up a live volcano!
Disadvantages: Don't use the toilets.lol.

Having visited Mt. Vesuvius whilst staying in Naples, I'd already been to Pompeii. I would suggest doing this as it is even more amazing to walk up this mountain when you can imagine all the devastation it caused all those years ago. It is almost too much ... Read review
