From the North, to the South...
Review of Errigal, Donegal by greenierexyboy

Advantages: A noble and comparatively straightforward peak
Disadvantages: Clear weather desirable

The most northerly point on the island of Ireland isn't in Northern Ireland. For sneaking around on its western blindside is slither of the south...the northern arm of County Donegal. In the shade of Avalon... The actual guilty party is Banb ... Read review

The Still Quite Young Man And The Sea
Review of Slieve League, Donegal by greenierexyboy

Advantages: An astonishing depiction of the force of nature.
Disadvantages: None. Unless you're a useless driver.

The British Isles are both literally and metaphorically defined by the sea. It provides both a fearsome line of defence, and an almost limitless avenue for attack: Britain has succumbed to the 11th Century Normans, held off the 16th Century Spanish and wh ... Read review
