Review of Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden, Connemara by cooler1968

Advantages: Wonderful, breathtaking beauty. Excellent experience.
Disadvantages: A little out of the way. Will not suit everyone

When you eventually approach Kylemore Abbey in connemara, you are simply amazed with the spectacular beauty and wonderfully landscaped area. Why so amazed? This Abbey is located 50 miles away from Galway in the middle of probably one of the most barren ar ... Read review

'Assume crash positions...'
Review of Alcock and Brown Landing Site, Clifden, Connemara by greenierexyboy

Advantages: Quite a striking monument in a gorgeous area
Disadvantages: One goes, one sees, one leaves...

In the wilds of Connemara, a land of wind and rain, a bog-dappled interior with a patina of loughs both big and small and a wild romantic coastline, of wind and rain, of poetry and song, of rain and wind, of hardship and sparse living where English is not ... Read review

It's the sort of place I'd be thrilled to come across by chance but now I know where it is I guess that won't happen. I wonder why they didn't wait another 10 years for the memorial - 40 is pretty unusual. Anyway, another exceptionally good review. David by Mitsudan

Family Friendly? Not for my family!
Review of Renvyle House Hotel, Connemara by lulu2004

Advantages: Away from every where for a break. stunning countryside
Disadvantages: it wasnt family friendly for us at all

My Other half and I got married last week. As we have a one year old we were a little loathe to fly anywhere on honeymoon as he is quite lively and we wanted to relax, rather than spend a plane journey running up and down the aisles of a plane after him. ... Read review

Isn't that hotel meant to be haunted? Which would be even less family-friendly, I'm guessing...anyway, it is a quite gorgeous part of the world, even if it does rarely stop raining. by greenierexyboy

hi to you too.On my own website (that has information that is apparently excluded from anyone wanting to cross reference) I have actually left a message that anyone having stayed with us could please share their experince with Tripadvisor -for a year or more now..Mind you it seems to me that the whole practice of persuading your customers to fill pages like these is very easy to manipulate and I assume that a fair pecentage of hoteliers do just that or even just post themselves unfer a false identity......-in the same way as they try to get intoTravel Guide Books by fair means or foul. Checking the list of hotels im my area listed in CiaoI can see that of the 22 hotels/b+bs listed exactly none nave been reviewed. The only contribution (ny first effort at telling people they could look at my website) seems to nave led to apparently successful(calls for my site to be delisted.I am just saying put it back and why can't you put in a link to my website at the same time?.It doesn't need to be clickable-just mysite dot co dot uk like I wrote it before.and those who want to check out the site can copy and paste the URL. by lucyfretwell
Hi there, I'm not going to rate because there's clearly some political stuff going on here. Can I suggest that instead of writing your own reviews about your hotel, you encourage your customers to write about it instead and give us their thoughts. There's no reason you shouldn't be listed. by koshkha
