We've just returned from a trip to see Santa and stayed in the Sky Hotel, Rovaniemi. What a fantastic place, comfortable, great food, friendly service and at the top of the Piste. When the tourist coaches turn up, there can be a little"swamping" of the staff and facilities for a couple of hours but the staff cope well. Our room had a sauna and had fully fitted kitchenette features. Good size rooms and comfortable beds, very quiet and warm. I can't speak hughly enough of the food as well. The restaurant is one of the top 20 in Finland. The scenary and views are also wonderfull. Go there before the secret gets out....

Advantages: Interesting, well researched, great for history buffs, different to other museums
Disadvantages: Lack of captions in English; you may not be into military history
