Quick review of Traian Confort, Bucharest
Review of Traian Confort, Bucharest by
edoderoo
I stay now in this hotel. Bring a network cable with your laptop, as they provide free internet xs by cable, not by wireless. . The restaurant is satisfactory, the breakfast too. Personel is friendly, nothing special, but good enough to come back again. The room has a mini-bar, and if you come by own car, there is a parking place nextdoor.

Advantages: The rooms and location
Disadvantages: Food
The rooms are quite spacious, clean and well equipped. We also had breakfast and dinner at the hotel but the food was not impressing by any means, breakfast was actually quite limited and not very tasty.
Facilities are quite good and the location is very ...

Excellent hotel with highly professional staff, we had an amazing experience. I highly recommend the Cupola restaurant, especially if you can have brunch. The sports bar can be fun too but it tends to be empty most of the time. The gym and swimming pool a ...

Angels with dirty faces
Review of Suceava, Romania by
fizzytom
Advantages: Some interesting sights, useful for visiting painted churches, tochitura
Disadvantages: Lots of begging, maybe you don't like stark Eastern European cities (why not???)
I'll be the first to admit that we didn't make the best use of the short time we spent in Suceava. It's a useful base to explore the celebrated 'painted churches' of this part of Romania (Moldavia - not to be confused with Moldova, which is a country to t ...

Quick review of Snagov Monastery, Bucharest
Review of Snagov Monastery, Bucharest by
feefgrgr
Be careful with the pensions in Snagov. I recommend to avoid the pension Motanul Galanton. We overnighted there last week for one night and they treated us as animals rather than tourists. We couldnīt sleep the whole night, due to an improvised party in reception without our opinion.
And the worst thing was that during the night they punctured a wheel of our car in response. Unbelievable in Western Europe.
Consider that Romania is not a tourist country.

Quick review of Astra Traditional Folk Civilization Museum, Sibiu
Review of Astra Traditional Folk Civilization Museum, Sibiu by
asterixW
Astra Traditional Folk Civilization Museum from Sibiu is the best resource of entertainment and knowledge if you travel to Romania. It is an ethnographic open air museum, the biggest in Europe ... and the most beautiful in the world. Don't miss this museum if you travel to Romania. So ... if you accept my objective review, or if you want to tried, just ask anywhere about The ASTRA Museum, which is located 500 metres from Sibiu, in Paltinis mountins way! It is worth it!

Quick review of Poiana Brasov
Review of Poiana Brasov by
youspurs1
We went with an all-inclusive package that included equipment hire, lift passes, ski school, half board and free drinks, to one of the three ANA Hotels, the Bradul.
Hotel, fantastic..rooms large, clean and warm.
Staff, polite and helpful.
Equipment hire, poor..if you are a beginner you'll be ok, but if intermediate, consider buying your own boots. The skis are ok.
ski school,...simply brilliant. Not a resort for advanced, but everyone else will certainly benefit from the excellent tuition from the wonderful instructors.
Food..good. At our hotel we were pleasantly surprised, 8 out of 10.
Overall, fantastic value for money. Can't recommend it highly enough for complete beginners and intermediates wanting to improve.
