We spent one wet day in the Museum of Civilization. It was excellent we spent all day there. There were so many exhibitions to see. It was good value for money.

Stayed in Quebec City for 4 days,beautifull old town. Visited the Parliament Building. You have to go into the building and book a tour either in French or English etc. Its free and you can take photos. Afterwards you can go into the Cafe downstairs.

Advantages: Great location, good facilities, clean spacious rooms
Disadvantages: None - although satisfaction may depend on how much you pay

I was only in Québec for a day, but liked it for much the same reasons as you say here. Having been billed up as very European, I was struck rather by just how north American it is. The National Assembly building looks as though it could be out of the Aristocats. Adam by lobourse
