I enjoyed my visit to the prison immensely, as I have an interest in old gaols. It is a beautiful building and a great story. It reminded me of the old Ballarat Gaol seen on Ballarat's eerietours.com.au which is also a wonderful experience and I also highly recommend! People like me who travel to see places of interest to them would love both these destinations.

Nice review. In my experience hostels can be very hot or miss...I was once in a great one, then next I was in a room that STANK of B.O. and there was no other room or space anywhere...smelly by MarcoG

Advantages: Friendly town, good activities - prices are competitive, lots of places to eat, very experienced guides
