The 4-night cruise from Aswan to Abu Simbel in early November 2008 was excellent. The ship is decorated in elegant Art Deco style in the bar/lounge and dining area; cabins are spacious and clean: pay the small extra amount for a balcony. Staff were attentive and helpful. Meals are buffet style, but the food is plentiful and worth queueing for. Between stops at temples the scenery is the lake and mountains rather than the villages and farms of the Nile: just enjoy the peace and the sound of the water. Excellent guide and tours. The approach to Abu Simbel is spectacular and the Sound and Light one of the best I've seen. Highly recommended.
