Advantages: Very different to anything in Europe, but very close to the UK
Disadvantages: You have to haggle over everything

Advantages: he weather is great
Disadvantages: drinks out in clubs are very expensive.

It is an excellent place. I spent there 6 days and it was the best part f my stay in Marrkech. I highly recommend this place.

Advantages: Looks lovely and decor great

Gorgeous place.... close enough to everything to walk... You find it by winding your way through the narrow streets of the Medina and step into the Riad through a huge wooden door - an Oasis of colour and friendliness. Mustapha and his sister provide excellent service - always smiling, fo guests nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was served on the terrace - coffee, yoghurt, pancakes, eggs, bread, melon and freshly squeezed orange juice.... Lovely! If they offer to cook you a traditional meal at home, I'd take them up on it too, as the experience of eating slow cooked lamb and rice noodles on the terrace at sunset was beautiful.

Advantages: Not as "touristy" as other parts of Morocco, steeped in history, a beautiful city
Disadvantages: Beware small children and Moroccan men

Advantages: Peaceful, pretty with wonderful owners and staff. One of my favourite places ever.

Great review I have just returned from Marrakech, and we had also to walk throught partially lit and smelly alleys to get to our Riad, but didn't feel threatened at all. Would definately return and would stay in same Riad which was called Zolah by Alison3

I was there in November. my friend had problems with changing money back but thats all i can remember. I did find it odd that one was supposed to surrender all Dirum then there were prices in Dirum after in the departure lounge. of anything particularly bad. Shame you missed out on most of Marrakech. i had a fab time exploring by duskmaiden

As you may have noted I stayed at the Amine in November. Completely different style of holiday but I enjoyed the hotel as much as you. Nice to know about the dinner as we went b and b . I only put a toe in the pool as it was freezing in November!! by duskmaiden
