Some helpful stuff here but the category is for the hotel only and you only need give minimal info about the area. BTW, I WOULD recommend the medina - it is safe and you are unlikely to get robbed. Tunisians are a very law-abiding people and it would be shameful to rob someone, especially a tourist. Also, the cafes are clean and no more likely to give you food poisoning than anywhere else in Tunisia or the world in general by fizzytom

No Air-conditioning before 01st-June even if it's boiling hot like 33 degrees celsius, and baclony's slide door didn't have a mesh to prevent bugs coming in, so I was battling with the bugs to be able to sleep at night, and at the end of my vacation my legs were full of red spots because of bug bites. Food is utter rubbish, the Tunisian cuisine is by no means tasty. The room did not have a fridge. Few Englsih channels on TV, and not a single tunisian channel to show you the countries culture. Advantages: All inclusive, plenty to keep you occupied, or just for chilling out.
Disadvantages: Music and PA system around the pool were, at times, too loud.

Really enjoyed Tunisia - not surprised they've made a theme park as they'd got tourism down to a fine art with tours everywhere. Loved Sidi Bou Said best all the blue and white buildings and of course the Star Wars bar in the desert!! by catsholiday
