Circle one review.
Review of Circle One Wetsuits by pannell2612

Advantages: Competative price/durable
Disadvantages: Can be quite cold in winter.

As a company circle one has a good reputation for making good quality wetsuits. My current winter wetsuit is from them and I find that it is exceptionally durable and comfortable. Some of the more expensive branded products (quicksilver, rip curl etc) do ... Read review

That is considerably better. Even though it isn't particulary long, it tells me everything I'd need to know, and it's explained in a way that even a non surfer can understand. by reddragonflame87
Sorry to rate SH, but there is actually very little information about the 'suit here. Even though I'm not a surfer myself, if I was I would want to know how easy it is to get in and out of, how thermal it is - as a winter suit I'm guessing it's meant to be warm - and whether it's fairly water resistant. Does it stick to the 'board if you lay flat? Does it attract sand? Let me know if you edit and I will happily come and rerate :-) by reddragonflame87

Bic 7"2 honest opinion.
Review of Bic 72" by pannell2612

Advantages: Cheaper and stronger than a custom. High re-sale value.
Disadvantages: Heavy, Un-manouverable. Too much float.

A Bic board is an obvious choice as you have probably seen a lot of them about. However, it really is a beginner's board- and that's it. It's great when you are learning as it is indestructible (made of plastic) and sturdy but if you surf regularly, you w ... Read review

hi local hero is based in wadebrige. they make quality boards. prices varrie, mine was 250 pounds. to barney: i usualy surf down at polzeath in the camel estury. but have traveled around the country and been to france for a surfing trip. i like the atmosphere at polzeath the most though. the best waves ive surfed are on the west coast of france though. i used to body board but it is very different to surfing. its a completly different thing, but mainly different waves. me and my mates are planning a sponsored tour around europ for when we get out of college or by the latest after uni. thanks very much for reading fabian m. by lazzy_surfer

Keep warm and snug
Review of Alder by lucyw

Advantages: Very warm and easy to get on and off
Disadvantages: Needs to be fitted well (just like any other wetsuit)

Alder wetsuits tend to have a pretty big reputation, perhaps not as big as others, but they should do! I used this wetsuit when surfing in Wales this May and i have to say it was great! I hired it from the local surf shop, PJ's in my size and found it ... Read review

Good op - and useful to understand that the suit gets too hot for summer. I only bodyboard occasionally and have a full summer suit - I went down to Cornwall at Easter and decided to brave it in the sunshine. I do have good thick some feet and gloves though. I was pleasantly surprised that even a 3/2 summer wetsuit seemed to keep me plenty warm enough for upwards of an hour at a time. I could tell the water was cold - but keeping moving seemed to offset this fine. So for those who will risk / tolerate shorter sessions out of the coldest winter days - a full summer suit might do for more of their surfing year...? by ciaotoday
I might just have to check a few of those sales that are on at the mo. I like Alder stuff and have got an amazing rash vest of theirs, and some socks too, but I've had enough really of wearing a shorty under my full suit (only 3-2) when the waters cold. Another good op here!! Ben by BJEEE
