Quick review of Survivor - Tom Cain
Review of Survivor - Tom Cain by
k-holmes1
Tom Cain serves up another classic in the thriller genre with a follow up to his "Samuel Carver" Series following up his first, "The Accident Man", with "The Survivor". The Main Character Samuel Carver makes Bad Things happen to Bad People, the book kicks of with knife edge tension. Samuel Carver is "Dispatching" With one of his targets by setting his aircraft up for sure death... but by mere luck, his target lives. This is the Catalyst to the many events that follow. Brilliantly written with some 3 page paragraphs with no speech that simply intricately describe some brutal assasinations.
A must read.

Quick review of Equal Rites - Terry Pratchett
Review of Equal Rites - Terry Pratchett by
CelesteJ
This book, like so many in the discworld series, was absolutely brilliant. Terry's sense of humour about gender equality is subtle, leading no offense to either side.
I just couldn't put this book down and have read it several times.
Defenitely a must have in the discworld series.

Quick review of Evil Star (Power of Five) - Anthony Horowitz
Review of Evil Star (Power of Five) - Anthony Horowitz by
profitonline
Matt thought his troubles were over when he closed Raven's Gate . . . but in fact they were just beginning. His fate -- and the fate of the world -- is tied to four other kids across the globe. The second is a street kid in Peru. He and Matt have never met; they don't even speak the same language. But destiny is going to throw them together as the evil threat of the Old Ones grows . . . and another Gate suddenly comes into play. Another masterful thriller from supernaturally suspenseful Anthony Horowitz.
