Two of our biggest stars (Ross and Chris Evans) have both tried and both haven't come close to the impact of Leno, Conan or Letterman. Maybe the arrogant, me-me attitude is more acceptable in a Yank than a Brit. by brereton66 I don't think this show is any great loss to the viewing public except for Four Poofs and a Piano - incidentally on their website it states there are plans to bring back the show in the new year - I see the group are presently doing a UK tour. 	Quick review of BBC2: The Dave Gorman Collection Review of BBC2: The Dave Gorman Collection by jackieforbes This book is a truly wonderful adventure, I feel like i've gone on a journey from Fife to France, from Ireland to a hilarious trip to Tela vive with the greatest travel companions Danny Wallace and Dave Gorman. I am not yet finished the book as I dont look forward to the day when the journry is over, unlike Danny and Dave. I have recommended this book to everyone I know, as Christmas is on it's way I can confidently say that both Danny and Dave will notice an increase in Royalties this year!! 	Quick review of Virgin Media Review of Virgin Media by mkmkmkmk Incredibly difficult to get any problems sorted out. Passed from department to department, and still no further forward. If you email a complaint they email back giving you customer service numbers and their website address. So many different departments that you wait 40 minutes on hold to be told to phone this New number, to do the same again to be told the same again. Virgin Media will waste hours of your life, frustrate you to the point of boiling and not give a st. 	Quick review of Toyota [TV Advertisement] Review of Toyota [TV Advertisement] by Edwarddo I think the latest Toyota Yaris TV advert is dreadful and upstages the whole point of the advertisement. The guy is seen kicking the car door closed and the girl uses passive aggression to get revenge by crashing his RC airplane. Obviously the revenge is vastly disproportionate to the damage done to her car but what kind of dysfunctional message is that to send out to consumers not to mention impressionable children? That sort of non-confrontational approach might be entertaining to some but I would have liked to have seen a much healthier approach from this Toyota driver. 	Quick review of Virgin Media Review of Virgin Media by notahappyman V+ box installed yesterday with problems configuring original box for use elsewhere. Thought eventually resolved, but later proved wrong ! Spent nearly an hour on phone this morning restoring channels to original box, then to be told this would cost me extra £5/ month when on placing the order was told no extra charge as I was on XL package. Box not supplied with HDMI cable so was not suitable for HD reception to my HD ready TV! No instruction book either! A glorified recorder with very limited HD reception if you buy a lead! Not impressed and taking the matter up with Sir Richard.
