	Quick review of Helphire Review of Helphire by nos100 AVOID AT ALL COSTS They were going to charge an extortionate amount to the other insurance company for a hire car and when I phoned the other insurance company direct they said they had alot of problems with helphire and they probably wouldn't have paid them for that (leaving me to pay) I dealt with the other persons insurance company direct, they had a hire car with me promptly. I even dealt with the recovery of my vehicle myself and had it taken to a repairer that I knew was good, helphire wanted to take my car 100 miles away to an unknown repairer. I pay my insurance company so see no reason... more ...why I should pay this lot another £10 for nothing. 	Quick review of warrantydirect.co.uk Review of warrantydirect.co.uk by topsys I recently had a claim with Warranty Direct. The garage made one call to Warranty Direct whilst I was there and the claim was processed straight away enabling the part to be fitted. This has been the same as on all previous occassions where I have claimed this year. This is only my first year with them and I will certainly be renewing my policy with them. It is well worth paying the premium as it and gives you peace of mind knowing that major faults with your car are covered and you are not going to get large unexpected bills from your garage. 	Quick review of warrantydirect.co.uk Review of warrantydirect.co.uk by mgifford I found Warranty Direct simple to contact and they offered clear instructions on the validity of the claim and the process I needed to undertake to have the warranty repair completed. Never did they give the imrpesssion of not wanting to pay out. The repayment cheque followed very quickly. Very satisfied customer. 	Quick review of Swiftcover Motor Insurance Review of Swiftcover Motor Insurance by GHeaders Avoid. Awful. There are reasons why they offer good premiums. Such as... A new driver pranged into my parked car, witnessed by my relative, and we exchanged details. Reported to Swiftcover and car was taken off to garage for repairs - £850. I paid £300xs. Four months later, time to renew policy, which has gone up £200 due to my no claims taking a hit. I enquired where they were with the claim - they had the wrong details and hadn't pursued or checked the details. Consequently I am expected to pay £200 more, and don't think I'll get my £300 xs back either. They will chase again in "two weeks". Makes... more ...you wonder why we bother with insurance. 	Quick review of Equity Red Star Review of Equity Red Star by deceased For five years now I have had an ongoing claim with this company for subsidence to my property.Two years was waisted because they put forward a company (Crawford's)to monitor the property this was a complete fiasco, eventually I contacted the Ombudsman with regard to there poor service. Things did improve for a while but now are deteriorating once again, God knows when this will be sorted out! Each year the insurance premiums has increased that after checking with other insurance company's I find that Equity Red Star are charging me twice what the other company's would charge. I would not recommend... more ...or endorser this company in any way, my advice is shop a round, you can do so much better than Equity Red Star. 	Quick review of Npower Review of Npower by hfz3yahoo.co.uk I signed up online for the dual online tarrif, they offered £80 cashback for it-I gave my bank details. However they are now joining me up on their the standard tarrif, which was is expensive and they have refused to change me back for at least 60 days. 	Quick review of Abbey National Review of Abbey National by CPWirral Abbey National were just terrible in so far as arranging my recent mortgage, to the point whereby the entire sale and purchase nearly collapsed as a result. SImply put, the Abbey National takes the definition of the word incompetence to new levels with astounding levels of bureaucracy and an inability to talk to someone capable of making a decision that isn't on a flowchart. I understand that customer service has declined rapidly for the Abbey following it's takeover from the Santander Group and can readily agree with that view having had first hand experience. As soon as my mortgage fixed... more ...term expires, I will be off to another lender! Take my advice - avoid the Abbey like the plague!!!
