My daughter and her friends are having the same problem with this company.I personally inspected the house, which they paid to be cleaned prior to leaving and left it in a better state than when the took up the property. Exactly the same issue as the others here. Poor service, took ages to get deposit information back, and finaly heavy charges for a range of very odd services -Amount returned to my daughter from £480? £2.00 Avoid this company. We are pursuing the company along with the other 6 students who have also been ripped off.

Jackson Stops & Staff are my letting agent and I have had a hole in my ceiling for 6 months! Half my lounge is completely sealed off and inaccessible. Very poor service received as a tenant.

I moved overseas with Pickfords from Edinburgh to USA, the move was perfect from start to finish, it was a company relocation and we had to have 3 quotes the representative who visited with us was a fountain of knowledge, we chose not based on cost but service, the move coordinator in the office was first class, she spent time explaining the paperwork, insurance and destination services then when we arrived in the US we were contacted by Allied again and all explained, they cleared our goods at customs and delivered everything intact. I could not rate them any higher - They made a stressful live changing move enjoyable and I do not think you can rate them higher than that!!

i have dealt with bairstowe eves on various ocasions and i feel they are not interested in selling houses only selling mortgages legal etc i had very few requirements in my search i wanted a 3 bedroom house for a certain amount not once have i recieved details about any 3 bedroom house the closest i had was 2 bedroom the most stupid a 1 bedroom flat. my sister who is also looking wasn't even allowed to view anything with them because she couldn't get to their office to see the motgage advisor they are worse than useless.

Wouldn't use them again. Everything was fine until it came to the actually delivery. They failed to delivery a printer, a music stand and chipped and scrapped an antique table on a move to South France. When I called with them about the missing items (I was not there when they were delivered) they said that as far as they said all items had been delivered and signed for in a good state and there was nothing I could do. The pre-packaging and the customer service up to that point was exellent but let's face it if things are not delivered or delivered in a poor state, why bother.... shop around before using them... and DONT even think about taking out their extra insurance

my experience is im an ex mr stevens employee and to be fair when i worked there myself and the rest of the crew tried our hardest to be carefull with the custermers goods as any damages that accured was taken out of our wages As for mr howard the boss he is an arogent wanna be gangsta who likes people to be scared of him and likes to use bullying tactics for things to go his way not a very nice person to deal with let a lone to work for he is only out for the money to keep up to his harly davidsons keep even though his quotes are cheap i strongly advise GO ELSWHERE.....
