Poor service, poor communication. 'Don't care attitude' when payments made in error to their pre-Morgan Stanley bank accounts and are not recoverable by them. It's Mr customers responsibility to get the money back but they will charge you interest. It only takes 15 mins to speak to the right person 24/7 is what their web site says, it actually means office hours Methinks they speak with forked tongue!

Help me Please! Has any one else experienced difficulty applying for Egg Money. I have been trying to apply for the past three weeks,my application on line states processing my application. When I contact Money via the secure site I am given numerous suggestions to try but to no avail. Has any one experienced this? and how did you resolve it?

I had a similar experience with the TSB as your own but the good news is you can put in a claim to get a refund on your charges and you might not even have to go to court to get it. Helpful review that indicates clearly how banks like to say yes but normally knowing they're going to shaft you any chance they can after they do. by Scotsmanmatt
Unfortunately people seem to think they can go overdrawn for free, not sure why they think this. Banks are there to make money not give it away for free - if you really have been charged incorrectly you should write and complain and it should be rectified. I've been with them for over 20 years and if I've gone overdrawn I expect to pay charges for it, same as with any other current account provider.... by anonymili

Thought great at first, then came time for renewal, cards took over 20 days, when asked in meantime where were they said had posted and would cancel and send another set. They arrived 10 days later, period of no credit as all passed expiry date. News cards arrived, misspelt wife's name had to wait again not too bad this time 5 days. Wanted to pay for summer holiday abroad declined payment, asked why always do because of fraud, didn't ring or write to inform me. Rang them said would put note on account to make payment from abroad, then declined again as fraud deptment didn't look at note. Took 3 times to get through a month in total, loss of airmiles.

As long as you in plus everthing seems to be alright. Never ever have any depths with this bank, they make you bankrupt with their charges. F.e. they take interest from you account with no warning that your overdraft will be overdraft. Than they charge £50 Fees.

I used to rate the Abbey but after having them as my bank whilst off travelling for the last 10 months i rubbish them. A cheque i paid in to fund my travels was refused clearance for weeks and i spent hundreds of pounds sorting their mess out and was treated badly. I would never rely on this bank again, their telephone banking is appalling.
