DON'T.....They're just a postal service. If anything goes wrong, it's never their fault -as they can't be held liable for the actions of the 'market makers' who fulfill, or not, the/your transactions. This happened to me today. I placed an order to sell well before the close on Friday - the third party never returned the order - as unexecuted - till after market hours - losing me a good 20% - the Fool Sharedealing position: It's not us. Go with a sharedealing service that's a market-maker in it's own right, these franchises are not really competent to manage the buying and selling of your shares. The ability to execute a buy, or especially a sell, is really quite fundamental. The IT infrastructure is simply not in place, as it takes nearly ten minutes to apply the execute order and who knows how long for the order to be filled. It's a basic thing and it isn't sorted.

Worth it if you have money

Website great, Service once you take them on, TERRIBLE! They never return calls and found me two mortgages which both had really high fee's and, of course, were 'only thru charcol' which cost me an extra £75 direct to charcol for the priviledge! I went to moneysupermarket and found a much better deal for half the price! The contact went awol for days at a time (as his colleagues said, 'no he just didnt turn up today!") Rang charcol to see if they could match it, left a message, never heard back! Ever!

A great magazine (not just for economists!)

I use XE a lot

This site is beginning to be very useful for anyone finding out about investments. It is written by someone who knows their stuff and is willing to commit their experience and knowledge to paper.They have a real time questions page open to any problem about investing in shares, options, futures, cfd etc. They don't just link you to other commercial sites but try to explain things themselves. I have not seen a site that does this and I wish them success in continuing to build their site. If anyone suggests articles or subjects to them they will write something up.

Dont rate it is posted in the wrong section. If using this site, lower food bill, bonus ipoints earned, though my question is that by using this site, to shop, why would someone with a need to buy quality food use this site for? Ok it saves pennies, though it would be like buying 1 quality product from marks and spencer, and then combining that with rubbish cheap stuff from Iceland. The cost of the shopping is not a real major factor for most consumers. I dont know the warehousing quality, delivery service, and product quality of each supermarket and neither do you. Therefore i am rather sceptical of the overall use of the website being reviewed. This is simply a method where supermarkets position are being forever expanded at the expense local markets

I made the mistake of setting up a debt management plan with a "debt advisor" company. Because I still had significant disposable income their primary concern was to extract their first payment from me in the full knowledge none of this payment was going to creditors. There was no justification for this charge (£1000) for setting up the plan. In addition I obtained some of the information for them to expedite the process and , after talking to Payplan, I realise they were shoddy and unprofessional in their preparation of my plan. If you are in serious debt please talk to the CCCS, Payplan or Debt Advice Trust because "you should not have to pay a shekel to deal with your creditors"
