Free Internet games, something that most all of us enjoy at one time or another. Whether it be bingo type games, Yatzee style, slots or poker, we all give it a go now and then. With this in mind ToTheGames.com (TTG) has a very user friendly game site that might just be perfect for you. I know you ask "Why TTG?" And that is just what this review is for, To answer that specific question.

TTG, as previously stated, is a free gaming site that BOASTS of a family style atmosphere. What do they mean by this? Well, no it is not a site that you, the spouse and kids can all sit around a play against each other, like you would monopoly, rummy or some other board or card game (unless you have enough computers for the whole family), but it has innocent programming and constantly has moderators that come in and out of the rooms to check and make sure that every one is behaving i.e. no cursing, threatening, harrassing, embarrassing, or disrespecting other players will be allowed. Also it removes any inappropriate names, this would be names of a sexual nature or that include cursing (correctly or incorrectly spelled). Its family caring atmosphere has attracted to it some of the most caring players. Many of the players that you will meet in TTG will take you into an internet friendship right away and make you feel at home in each of the rooms that you go to. (Off Topic but to emphasize the friendship ring: Personally I met TROLLPAT. I met her about 1 or 2 months before I left on a 6 month deployment in which would keep me from the playing on the sight. She diligently emailed me almost daily, informing me of how they all were doing and wishing me and my coworkers the best and getting other members to email me also.) Now if you were to have that rude obnoxious somebody come in and and a moderator was not around, it has a way for you to contact a moderator and one will be in your room almost immediately to help handle the situation, which can be either calming down the participants or booting them from the site, permanently if deserved. These moderators are on 24/7/365, and I suppose 366 during a leap year but I have not been there to witness that one yet.

Now that you have a feel for the gentleness of the gamesite, lets take a walk through signing up. When you first get to the TTG home page you will not find a sign up link. What you will see is on the top left a menu of places to visit on there site, including some reputable cash game sites, on the left top quick links to the free games on the site, along with quick links to the pay games on the other reputable sites. Now if you scroll down the page you will start more information of each game along with clickable links that will take you to that game. Each of these games will have a link available to click for each room that is available, along with a written description of the game and a picture for quick recognition. Once you click on one of these game room links you will be presented with a pop up taking you to that game (gameroom) to where you will then have the opprotunity to register to be a member. To register just click the register button at the bottom right of the page. It will ask you for a Username, password, confirmation of password, email address, confirmation of email address, birthday and gender. You then click submit and you are ready to rock and roll.

Now that we are registered lets look into the games that we can play. The easiest way to get started is to scroll down the page and look at the more descriptive game introductions. This site is constantly trying to add new games but at this time has 11 games to choose from. These games include:

Wordhunt- Personally one of my favorites, Wordhunt is a game just like Boggle. It consist of a 5 X 5 letter board in which you click on cojoining letters to make words and submit. It gives you 2 minutes to form and submit as many words as possible, and gives double credit for the words that you find before anyone else.

Keno-This is a game to where they start you with 100 TTG points. You get to buy your cards with this. Don't worry if you get to 0 TTG points they will start you back up with 100. You able to play up to 5 cards at a time with between 1 and 15 spots played on each one. The object of the game is out of the 20 balls that will be drawn to get as many of the #'s to hit as you can. Ofcourse you have no controll over this.

Dicez- This game is a remake of Yahtzee. Once you log into this room you will be taken to the lounge. This is where they have tables for 2 already made up and either have players already playing so you can watch the game or players waiting on someone to join in. This game has a simple concept. Each turn you get 3 chances at rolling 5 dice. You want to try to get as many 1's, 2's, 3's, 4's, 5's or 6's on that turn or 3 of a kind, 4 of a kind, full house, small straight (run of 4 [1,2,3,4,5 ect...]), large straight (run of 5), Dicez (5 of a kind) or chance (anything can be put here).

Bingo- Who does not know Bingo? Just like at the bingo halls you play to make the pre-determined pattern. All you have to do is move your mouse over the cards and if your # is there it will dab it for you as you scroll over it. Bingo is automatically calld for you if you have it.

Slingo-This game is alot like bingo, but different. You log into the room and you have your own individual slot machine. You have the option of buying into a card for that game or sitting it out. If you buy into the card you will then pull the handle on the slot machine. It gives you 10 seconds to pull the handle or you miss your turn then it will give you numbers or jokers or coins. The numbers that show up on the left side of the card can be place anywhere on the card, but the numbers on the bottom will coincide with the rows that they are in. If you get a green joker it is only allowed to be played in the row or column in which it shows up. The red Joker (Super Joker) can be placed anywhere on the board, and if you get a coin it is worth 100 points. The object of the game is ofcouse to fill up your card. But as seeing how this is not always going to happen you also get bonuses for making a slingo, a straight line across the board in any direction. The person with the most points at the end of the game wins. I know this sounds like a boring game, but it is a popular game on the site. Popular enough for them to make a second set of slingo rooms.

Roulette- This is played just like the roulette that you would find in a casino except free. The roulette wheel has 36 numbers plus 0 and 00 an 2 colors on which you can bets. You can also place bets on even/odd or the first 12 numbers, second 12 numbers or third 12 numbers. If the ball once spinned lands on the area or number you bet on you win. Simple and pure luck.

Boule- This is a mini version of Roulette. It features 9 numbers and 3 colors of which you can bet on. Everything else is the same as roulette.

Reversi- also known as Othello is played on an 8X8 square grid. To play you and your opponent take turns placing your color piece on vacant squares, but next to one of your opponents pieces, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The object of the game is to have the most pieces on the board at the end of the game. It is a very stategic game that I could not even begin to explain correctly. For more information on how to play you can visit www.iplay.net/ourgames/reversi

Connect4-Simple easy fun. A basic stategy game to where try to get 4 of your pieces in a row in any direction. The board is made up of a 5x8 grid in which you place your pieces starting at the bottom and working your way up.

Slots- Now for you slot machine lovers out there, this is a fun game. It is a simple basic slot machine game that consists of a 1 line slot. You can bet between 1 and 3 TTG points and the winnings are added to your TTG points total. Don't worry if you lose all your points, they will give you another 100 points to start over with so you can keep playing.

Video poker-This gives us 2 seperate games. First is a Jacks or better and the other is 10 or better. Just as the names for each states, you can win with a pair of jacks or better or a pair of 10s or better. Again you will be started with 100 TTG points and not have to worry about running out, since they will keep re-filling your points if you lose them.

Now for an over view of all the games at once. Each game has its own chat room and most have multiple lounges. Once you log into a specific game you can choose which lounge you would like to be in or none at all if you don't feel like chatting that particular day. Each game keeps its own rating of you and how you are doing compared to others and the overall ratings are updated daily at approximately 10:46 am GMT, so that you can see your daily rankings.

This game site has provided me with countless hours of fun, and excitement and I have recommended this site to many of my friends. I would recommend anyone that is looking for a friendlly place to chat , meet friendly people and have fun playing games all at the same time to give this site a chance.

Update

Recently TTG has added a new game room for backgammon. The object of backgammon is for each player to get his checkers into his/her home board before the opponent. To play you will roll a single die to determines who goes first. After that you will roll 2 dice. You then move your checkers forward only the number of moves shown own the dice. There are other rules to this game, but I am not proficient at this game so would only end up confusing you more than I already am if I tried to explain them.

Thanks for reading the Update
Cheers
Dave
