I have been a member of Tradedoubler for about two years now and I can say that I have made quite a bit of money with them.
To join you any affiliate scheme you have to have a webpage, you can get a webpage free from your internet provider. I have one from AOL which I have bought a .co.uk name and have added banners from Tradedoubler to it.
So far I have earned £1852 and with careful planning you can do the same.

My site has banners for game sites where people can join for free, play the games and if they wish, they can then play for real cash and win cash prizes. If not they can carry on playing the games for free, collecting points and entering the prizedraws every month. This earns me money for everyone who joins for free through one of my banners. Then if anyone joins for real money I get commission on everything they spend, it is a lifetime commission so like I say with the right banners you can earn lots of money. I also have reward site banners on my page, from survey sites including Ciao to paid to read email sites. these bring in the odd pennies every time someone joins.
All you need to join Tradedoubler is an e-mail address and your webpage, then you choose a password and can log into the site once you've had your password confirmed by e-mail. Once your logged in you can go to the members area fill in your name and address and your payment details. this is your bank account details and once you ahve reached your minimum payment target you will be sent the money via BACS, straight into yuor bank, it takes the money three days to arrive in my account from leaving my balance on the site.
Choose programs This is where you to read the list of programs available to apply for, it will show you the amounts you will earn for either clicks, individual visits or commission on anything someone buys though a particular banner which you have put on your page. Tradedoubler will e-mail you to confirm you have applied for a program then e-mail you again to tell you if you have been accepted or denied for that program. This can take anything from two days to a month or longer depending on what you apply for. Once you have been accepted you can then log in and go to My Programs and add the banner to your site.
You can look at reports which tell you what you have earned that month, or if you have any traffic error, it is good to check these reports regularly, as if your banner isn't displaying properly on your page you may be missing an opportunity to earn.
Your account balance shows you how much you have earned . You can look at the account balance breakdown page and this will tell you who has paid and who hasn't. Sometimes the merchant takes time to pay. It all depends on the programs you have joined. Once you have been accepted for a program you can add the banner to your page by copying and pasting the HTML onto your webpage. Then as soon as someone either clicks, visits or buys you earn money. I average from £100 to £150 per month as I advertise reward sites and free to play game sites, which do very well. It took me about five months to get to earning around £100 - £150 a month but with the commission earned from the game sites it's now a regular income just collecting online and transfering itself into my bank each month. The best thing is anyone can do it.
There has not been a month where I have never been paid, the site is well run and new merchants are joining all the time, so there's always new banners to choose and earn from.
If you want to see how simple my page is then leave me a message in my guest book and you can have a look, as I'm not allowed to write it in the review. Best wishes.
Advantages: Free Money Disadvantages: You can get bumped!!
Tradedoubler, is a web based affiliate company that provides affiliate programmes in several European Countries.
Jargon Buster:
For those of you new to e-commerce (online selling and advertising), an 'affiliate' will display an advert or banner or link on their web site to earn money for both themselves and the company to whom the advert/banner belongs.)
Now, lets get back to business! (har har!), When you enter Tradedoubler's web site you are ... ...site details. Once you have done this you will be directed to the Main 'Affiliates' page, which lists all of the companies offering affiliate programmes, latest news for users of the site, and has links for users to access information on their affiliate accounts, such as current balance (how much those adverts have earned you), overview reports (how many times people have clicked on each advert you are displaying on your site), and payment reports ...

Advantages: Helpful, easy to use and professional Disadvantages: You have to wait a bit for your money
As there are already a fair few ops on here describing what affiliate networks are, and how they work, I shall not waste your time by repeating them. What I would like to do is tell you of my own conclusions and experience with TradeDoubler.
There are a few big affiliate management companies that deal in UK web sites, of which TradeDoubler, ValueClick and AffiliateWindow are perhaps best known (though CommissionJunction are catching on too). Some ... ...in order to consider your site, which seems unnecessarily restrictive, given that affiliate advertising is generally based on user actions (sales, registration, etc.) rather than impressions. After all, a well designed niche site, with advertising aimed at its visitors, is likely to generate as many sales for an advertiser as a more popular generic site will with its smattering of adverts from all and sundry. With affiliate companies like TradeDoubler, ...

Advantages: Very simple to set up several sites/affiliates all feeding one account Disadvantages: Many of the companies take one look at your site and refuse to have anything to do with it, or perhaps that's just MY site!
Tradedoubler.com is a website that puts you in touch with advertisers so that you can put ads on your website and get paid revenue. WAIT!!! It's not as boring as it sounds, and it's surprisingly simple.
First, you need a website, and you need a website that allows affiliates, (i.e. not Geocities, so check the terms&conditions of your host before going any further).
An affiliate is just a company/organisation that affiliates (attaches, links, joins ... ...to be advertised on your website.
Tradedoubler are really just a go-between, but they are very useful. You log onto the TD site (just put in your details, they Email you a password, doesn't take too long and they walk you through it), logon with your lovely new account, enter the site or sites you want to make money on and then start browsing the affiliate companyies.
The TD people have built up a good base of well-known companies (Tesco, B&Q, ...

Advantages: Some well paying sites, good choice Disadvantages: need to have a regulary visited site
What is the point in having your own website. Many would say ‘to show people your own created world and include all your ideas’. Many would say that the site is just a hobby like collecting stamps or train spotting. But the majority would say that they would like to make a popular and income generating site. So if you fit neatly in to that last category then this is the ideal site to make your dream come true. Trade Doubler offers an ... ...and then join partner companies (affiliates) and get paid for advertising. Quite simple and so is the signup procedure. On the main page enter your e-mail and they send a password to this address. This is a good idea because it saves you filling in all your details and entering the wrong e-mail. Any way they send you a password containing a mixture of upper and lowercase letters and numbers. I have changed mine to make it more memorable. Next you ...
