Advantages: The trade side of this site is good and most the traders are very reliable. Disadvantages: The administration of the site is unreliable
I have been a member of this site for well over a year and have withdrawn all financial commitment. This is because a young lady I purchased a bike from actually processed it around the wrong way nominating me as the seller. In informing Trademe we were advised to reprocess the trade around the correct way. The result was that they pinged each of us for commission on sale. Trademe.co.nz is an easily negotiated site with many excellent features such as a message board for buyers and sellers who wish to vent their frustrations and ask questions of the trading community, a chat room called "The Cafe" and e-cards. Although at this time 96% of its members are from New Zealand overseas dealers are also welcome. Sellers can run as many auctions as they want for one, three, seven or ten days. You can edit or delete these at ... ...be finishing are displayed along with the time remaining so that buyers have a chance to place a last minute bid. There are other options for displaying your auction and advertisements such as having them featured for a small cost. Otherwise it is free to buy or sell on trademe.
