I then discovered a site called "Travelscape" which turned out to be an absolute god send. Through the site, I managed to get a double room at the Las Vegas Hilton for just £17 per night, ... ...grotty B & B in Blackpool for that!
The site was so easy to use, you simply enter the dates you would like to stay and the state and it will list all the hotels available on those dates, along with the prices, locations and a secure on-line bboking facility.

After that, the first thing we did was to find an internet cafe and book through travelscape for the following nights.
We did this easily and saved ourselves a fortune. I know cause I asked at the hotel desk how much the rooms normally cost. I have since recommended this site to other friends, and they have all said what great deals they have gotten. I would recommend this site to anyone wanting to travel the States.
