I had my first experience with TribalUK around 2 years ago when I was looking to purchase a new LCD television. I had thoroughly browsed both in High street stores and online shops and decided the online route would provide me with a far more reasonable price. I had never before heard of TribalUK, but after typing cheap TV's into Google it popped up as one of the favourites.

I followed the link and was welcomed to the site with an array of products all reasonably priced and clearly labelled. The site is easy to use with tabs for each different electrical type and the usual search function. The site name is clearly stated at the top of the page, although I find the choice of colour (dark blue and grey) for the majority of the site to be a bit saddening and doesn't spring out at you like Play.com with its bright orange's.

I found the prices to be very good, I picked up the Samsung LE26R74 for £480, very good at the time, prices were around £699 in High street stores and £550 in other online stores. The site had an impressive amount of information and high level of specification detail to hand about my chosen product that was arranged in a format which made it easily comparable to other TV's. This format is also utilised with all of their other electrical goods, each item has a small picture and below it a set amount of key features that are considered by the site creators to be important for each different product. For TV's it has stuff like pixel resolution, contrast ratio, if it is HD, whether it comes with free view etc.

I placed my order because it said the item was in stock, it was to be delivered free which is always good and they even let me choose my date and time. I was told I would receive a letter of confirmation of when the product was to be despatched, (said 7-10 days), however 2 weeks later and nothing. I rang up and was told the item was out of stock and they were awaiting delivery, why wasn't I told this?...anyway, I took the mans word that it would be with me within the week, still nothing...I rang up again, 'Yes sir, we get a delivery in 2 days'. This time luckily for them it did arrive and I'm happy to say it was in perfect condition. I have seen many reviews about TribalUK and all have said they have had problems with delivery so clearly it is an issue that needs addressing, although 99% of people seemed happy with their price and the quality of the goods.

It is a good site with low prices and free delivery which I would advise using, although be careful, you may end up waiting far longer than you had been initially told.
