Okay, I realise that Flash Boyfriend is a sad thing to interact with if you are a post-teenager who is in a normal, healthy relationship but what can I say? It is addictive!
Sign up for Flash Boyfriend and you will meet Max, a handsome, animated young chappy that constantly dons a red t-shirt and a winning smile, in an internet cafe. After you give him your email address, he'll promise to email you. A few days later (or sooner if he is keen), you'll get an email from him and soon you'll learn that every encounter you have with Max will be prompted by an email that he sends you.
In every email, he'll say something like "Why don't you meet me at" followed by a URL and when you click on it, you will be taken to meet him where you will watch an animated interactive story unfold and you will have many decisions to make along the way. Different things will happen depending on which choice you make. Kind of like those Pick a path stories that you used to read as a child. You'll meet his roommate, who will fancy you, and his ex-girlfriend Steph, who will throw you daggers with her eyes and try to get back with Max. All in all, exciting entertainment.
I'm still excitedly checking my emails for word from Max...go on and try it.
