Well my first experiences of Tucows.com was very good, very good indeed. They certainly know how to look after the general net user. I would not say that this site was for total beginners but for anyone with even slight net knowledge will find this site more than usefull. This site has everything you would expect from a download site. It has shareware, tools, utilities and themes. everything the more "major" download sites have.
