Someone please shut these...
We deeply regret ordering anything from this company and hope that they go out of business.My wife and I ordered a Stokke Xplory travel pack on 23rd November 2009. It came with a car seat in the pack, and we also ordered a bouncy chair and some mobiles. We ordered over the phone and were told that the order would be delivered wihtin two weeks. This, it turns out, was a bare-faced lie. Naturally, they took our money straight away.
Over the Christmas period we sent them an email (they only deal with after-sales by email with a three-day turnaround) to find out where the order was. We had a generic reply apologising for problems outside of their control. We waited a further two weeks and then started to look into the company a little more. All over the internet we found stories of people who had shared the same experience.We were starting to get worried by the end of January (our baby is due on 20th March). I got fobbed off again, so I found out the name of the managing director (Richard Bone) and the company's real name (Two Right Feet) and sent him a final notice by recorded letter that I would commence court proceedings if I hadn't had delivery within 5 working days. What do you know? The buggy and mobiles were dispatched late at night the following day.
We were still without the car seat and base, and the bouncy chair, so we had to buy replcaements from John Lewis in case, as the baby was nearly due to arrive. It took another final notice (and me actually starting the court process) for them to be delivered, still minus the bouncy chair. We have now had notification that they have cancelled the order for the chair and I have no idea whether or not I'll receive my money wihtin the 30 days that they promise. If not, I will just sue them straight away.If you are reading this and are about to order from them, please save your sanity and order from somewhere else. This company has done this to a lot of people and isn't worth your time.
