I saw an article about a company selling tyres through the internet called EDT (www.tyres-sold-online.co.uk)claiming to be able to sell tyres cheaper than the high street.As I needed 2 tyres for a high performance car and had been quoted £150 each by Kwik-fit etc I thought i'd give them a try.
On their website I found a pair of Bridgestone RE720's at size 205/45vr16 at an unbelievable price of £76 each.I ordered them online with my credit ... ...weeks I rang them up (0870 9009988) to enquire where they were.I was told that the price quoted had been a mistake and they had been waiting for me to contact them to see what I wanted to do.I was disappointed that they didn't email me or phone to say there was a problem and told them i'd agreed a contract.I was told that they would give me a quality tyre for the same money but it wouldn't be the Bridgestones.

After 2 weeks I rang them up (0870 9009988) to enquire where they were.I was told that the price quoted had been a mistake and they had been waiting for me to contact them to see what I wanted to do.I was disappointed that they didn't email me or phone to say there was a problem and told them i'd agreed a contract.I was told that they would give me a quality tyre for the same money but it wouldn't be the Bridgestones. After another week still no tyres so I rang and was told that they were still searching for the tyres.(Apparently they source them from Europe). A month after a first ordered the tyres I was just about to cancel when they arrived by courier(Delivery is free).I was given a pair of Dunlop Sport 3000 and I was very pleased. When I had them fitted at a high street tyre centre (£10 per tyre) I was told they were about £140 each which was pleasing to hear.
