Hi,

I've refreshed the DNS Records which should resolve this issue. Please allow up to 24 hours for the changes to take full effect - if you do not see any improvement after the 24 hours, please get back to us.

Uhmmmmm....
The reply is absolutely different from the question!
I know that for change (or to update) the DNS 24 hours want us... therefore I have to alone to wait for!
The question was instead " WHY? " and I hope in a reply to this question. Is it possible?
p.s.: to have it not to hope it, because to hope is always possible.
Thanks

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM (s)?
I repeat that the reply is optional therefore if you should continue to answer with arguments that do not confront the matter, I pray yourselves of NOT TO ANSWER. Thanks and appearance... the 24 hours!

So it goes already better and in wait that it spend these long hours it allow me some reflections. The trust is the base of a good relation between who sells and who gains! Without it is not yourselves not not any good relation or rather any relation! I hope but it know the difficulty and the problems that have myself given and that I continue to have from this episode. For this cause should know PLAINLY the motive that until now still do not know!
You said me:
"I found that your nameservers weren't pointed to our default nameservers."
WHY? I did not do no alteration to the DNS and I do not believe that alone they changed their direction.
It does I say to my customers? The DNS are gone crazy, have changed alone, became autonomous? According to you, will believe us? I have a lot doubtful!!!
Returning instead to the relation of trust with the customer I took all the responsibility with my customers guaranteeing that this will not happen more! And it is what I should guarantee! And for to make it myself what it happened! It believe to be been very clear and appearance clarity also aside yours (if want obviously to continue the relation on serious and solid base). Thanks

It is spent more 40 hours possible that the engineers not resolve the broken one? Really a big mess! Now I hope alone 2 things: 1. The work to put right the broken continuous one also in the days of party! 2. You have not intention of to beat some record. In period of Olympic Games...

Hard Disk Drive of your previous server was damaged - that's why your website data were lost.
At present moment our hardware specialists are trying to bring all data back. As you understand it's not "one moment" process and it does may take some time. I understand your frustrating but in current situation we can do nothing to speed this up.
If you don't want to wait for data restoring, you can re-upload your files from the scratch from your local PC.

I hope it is a joke! The problem is not that of to recover the data: CERTAINTY THAT SHOULD BE RECOVERED. The problem is to have, with much correctness aside yours a CORRECT prediction of the times. And then: "one moment" are 2 days not "one moment". Damn it! You are ruining me! If it expect that for today done not recover the data YOU IT TO ME IMMEDIATELY! I begin to remake the ecommerce & portals varieties and to seek at least of to recover some customer! BUT IMMEDIATELY. At least this!
Tuxsa

and finally: you know "redundant"!
Tuxsa
Posted On: 15 Aug 2008 08:58 AM
Please, I would like a reply! The given always can be recovered and the technicians know well how much time is necessary. If I do not know this time I cannot do nothing and risk of to lose other time and to put other damage to the present damage.
Tuxsa

I do not understand! You unload your problems on the users! I have asked an IMMEDIATE reply to save at least what can be saved. If the time expected is acceptable then appearance and I recover some now! If the time expected is too much does not remain me that to work IMMEDIATELY to rebuild the sites of my customers and every minute is precious (in one there are 1100 products with photograph, damnation). The fact of not to answer is not the right road and increases the anger. Give me at least the possibility of to decide what to do!
I should know what it expect: 24, 48, 72 hours, a month, ...never!

For timely knowledge I communicate yourselves how much follows (in English and in Italian). Not all of the problems can be avoided and therefore can happen but in this case is yourselves a sum of things that should be denounced:
1. The shoddy technology worn from UK2.net;
2. The scarcity of professionalism. Whoever service provider uses RAID hard drives, this means that all data is copied to two hard drives instead of just one. If one drive fails the other takes over immediately;
3. The use of the lie like practice costing towards the users
4 The scarcity of responsibility. They lose not the data of the users and claim to offer a service "reseller". Absolutely to the proposal of collaboration to resolve the problem TOGETHER not to give more some reply and to leave the user all of the weight of to resolve the problems created from your approximation.

Now the problem is to recover IMMEDIATELY the data in your possession. Give me the possibility of to copy me the data accommodated on the service reseller and "bye bye".

I warn yourselves that without a your reply, MONDAY I will activate all the legal practices for the compensation for damages caused beyond those that you will cause me in future. In the same time this ugly episode will be communicated to how many more possible users in UK, blog, forums, etc and to eventual associations of service provider and suppliers of hosting and services.

All this can be avoided from a your reply and from the I recover some data. It pray to give yourselves myself a reply otherwise further aprirņ ticket until I will not have answered. Thanks

Hi,

We do run a raid system in all of our shared hosting servers. Unfortunately the raid controller didn't alert us to a failed raid setup and the 2nd disk in the array has now since failed. We are working on recovering the data from the array and we're trying to get your site(s) back online asap.

We will keep you updated over the weekend on this as we have engineers working on the problem until it is solved.

I shall leave this ticket open so that we can keep you updated.

Monday open the businesses that have, beyond their sites, also the mail blocked now from a lot of days. It pray to answer yourselves with truth and responsibility: while recovered the data lost (but how many days want us?) I can activate a page index.html of excuses for every dominion and to activate the mail? This can create problems to the technicians that are working on the server? Obviously just recovered the data the pages index.html can be removed directly also from you! I wait a reply.
