Advantages: Shop till you drop, no waiting for Avon lady, one delivery charge Disadvantages: spend a fortune
Up until a few months ago I used to buy a lot of Avon products from one of my friends, as she was an agent. However, after my husband and I moved to a new house a few miles away in the country I wasn’t able to see my friend so often and shortly after she decided to stop working for Avon due to family commitments anyway. Not wanting to go through the rigmarole of finding another agent, or Avon Lady as they were once known, in the area, my friend suggested ... ...directly to your door and you can order whenever you want without having to rely on the agent turning up at infrequent intervals.
A month or so ago I decided to throw out a lot of my old makeup that I had hovering around my dressing table for ages and had probably reached the end of its shelf life by about 10 years. By the time I had finished my spring-cleaning I realised that I wasn’t left with an awful lot so thought about replenishing my stock ...

Advantages: some helpful advice Disadvantages: a bit slow in loading, or is that my server
If you didn't already know that I've been an Avon rep for over 20 years, you will do by now eh lol!!
Over the last year or so I have found it quite hard to get through to customer services about my avvount with Avon. So when the new website got launched not so long ago, I quickly registered.
You have to go into representatives area to register and they ask for your area number, your account number and your password.
Then about a week later, they ... ...can change to whatever you wish.
I firstly lost the letter then i applied again for another log-in. I decided after a few days, that I would phone them to see if they would give me my new number over the phone.
The lady was most helpful and gave me the number without hesitation. I wondered why I had to wait for the letter through the post before I could look at the site properly.
What I find useful is the fact that I can request a credit, or a ...

Advantages: Quick, easy to use. Disadvantages: They don't look after their workers.
This website looks user friendly my initial reactions were good. I was impressed with the layout the blue colours of the site were easy on the eye. It was all laid out in a nice easy order that was not difficult to navigate.
I first went to the Avon Café part of the site. There was a ladies smiling face looking back at me which gave me a good impression and was a positive approach. Not only can you purchase products on the website, but you can send ... ...thought this was pretty good actually.
It is a nice easy and laid back site where you can have fun as well as search for products. You can even go look at a virtual beauty adviser. The thing I loved the most was the playground part of the site. Being the big girl I am I just loved applying make up to the models. You could literally spend hours just applying make up to them which I thought was pretty nifty and very clever. It also helps you decide ...

Advantages: Good quality items delivered to your door Disadvantages: £2.50 delivery charge
If you have not got an Avon representative in your area, then i would suggest that people have a look at the Avon UK website. You will find it at www.uk.avon.com, it was currently being updated when i visited it but you can apparently order selected items from it, but what you can do is request a brochure and they will post one to you so you can browse at your leisure. There range includes:- cosmetics, perfumes and aftershaves, footcare items, jewellery ... ...with Avon as they usually have loads of items on offer for you to try, and their no quibble guarantee ensures you can't lose.
With the brochure, they send you an order form and prepaid envelope. You can pay for your order by cheque, credit card or postal order but there is a delivery charge of £2.50 when you order this way. I have found Avon to be good quality and value for money. ...

Advantages: get avon stuff without a rep, good selection online Disadvantages: postage charges
Having been a fan of Avon for years, but not having a regular rep, I was really glad when I stumbled across their website.
Their homepage has a really simple and easy to understand layout. The current brochure number is clearly displayed at the top of the screen and some of their main offers from that campaign are pictured. below that is some advice about how to use some of the features on the website, the quick shop option, where you just put in ... ...option, product highlights that highlights the offers in the current brochure, and also a link for a questionnaire where you fill in what you think of the website.
Along the top right hand side is a link for help, which details how to use the website, and answers most queries that I have had with the site, and also a link that details postage. Postage is 2.50 per order, regardless of size.
Along the top left hand side is a link back to the homepage, ...
