Just like corner shops - use it or lose it. The little sites of this world need a good niche and a strong following.
Uk-bid.co.uk had neither.

I saw this had a few opinions that were written a while ago, so I checked out the site and, what did I find? Not a lot.
There were no auctions, and have there ever been? I have registered and will post some auctions to see the reaction! It's free so there is nothing to lose, unlike some other sites that charge an absolute fortune for listing, and winning items.
The layout seems to be ok and navigation is quite easy. The site has been kept simple ...

I have found uk-bid auctions to be one of the poorer auction sites around, it's not terrible but it's not great either.It offers an ok selection of items and the majority of those featured do seem to be in rather good condition. The prices tend to suite most pockets .It's design is fairly good and gets the job done,placing bids proves to be hassle free . sending/receiving payment for a auction you have won/sold is easy enough .
