I have found uk-bid auctions to be one of the poorer auction sites around, it's not terrible but it's not great either.It offers an ok selection of items and the majority of those featured do seem to be in rather good condition. The prices tend to suite most pockets .It's design is fairly good and gets the job done,placing bids proves to be hassle free . sending/receiving payment for a auction you have won/sold is easy enough . This is definetly one of the weaker sites around and i wouldn't recommend it but take a look for your self.There is definetly better out there if you look hard enough such as yahoo and ebay.
