UK Invest is one of the most comprehensive financial sites around and certainly worth a visit as a starting point to investing.
Financial and Markets news is updated throughout the day. You can enter a stock's name and get a quote - delayed - but if you register you can get a real time quote.
You have an excellent portfolio tool to log your stocks and shares, which you can check throughout the trading day.
There are plenty of articles on investing themes on the site. Tips on how to and what to invest in. Fantasy Stock trading Competitions are also sometimes featured.
Interviews with company CEOs. The days stocks on the move - and comments and analysis on why they have moved. Brokers tips updated weekly and news from World markets.
The site also has links to it's sister site america-invest.com, so you can keep up to date throughout the day with what's happening on Wall Street and the Nasdaq.
If you are not brave enough to be 'in the market' there are also tips on what ISA to select and a selection of 'money channels'giving you advice on Pensions, Mortgages and indeed EVERYTHING you could want to know about Finance and Investment.
I heartily recommend this site to anyone that does not have 'money to burn' and wants instead sound advice, interesting comment and informative advice.
