...found this available online from vTech themselves and Amazon at £8.99, plus delivery. I believe it's also available at most good toy shops (and some bad ones). I think Nanny got this from ELC.
*** What does it do? ***
Other than irritate the hell out of me, you mean? When first turned on, and if the pop-up puppy is down, you hear the words "Peek-a-boo" followed by an irritating melody and then the words "Let's find the Blue Dog". Pressing the yellow ... ...*** Further information ***

Other animal friends introduce numbers, animal sounds and melodies while the soft fabric bumpers add visual and tactile interest for little explorers!

Yet another one of Jack's Christmas presents up for review and this time it is the PopupSurpriseBall from Vtech. I bought this from Argos way before Christmas and it came as part of a three toy set costing just under £20. It came with the Vtech nursery Rhyme Book and the Vtech Mobile phone. I thought this was a very reasonable price for the three toys together as I had previously seen the nursery rhyme book for sale singularly at a price of around £8 and that is pretty much the price you would pay if you went out and bought this popupsurprise call separately too.
The mound of toys that Jack received at Christmas were not really all played with on the day, as there was just too many of them, I do think I went a little overboard! Eventually Jack got around to playing with this popupsurprise...

So what does it look like.
***************************
Well its a yellow ball with a blue top and bottom. It has 3 fabric strips down the side of the ball, one green, one blue and one red one. All the strips have letters, numbers and music notes on them. Inbetween the fabric strips are buttons, a green bird, a red cat and a pink rabbit. On the top of the ball is a flashing star, which when pressed, a puppy popsup. Also on the top of the ball is the volume control switch.
Whos it aimed at

Babies 3 months and upwards. At a guess I would probably
say it will last untill they are about 2 years old, maybe
a little longer.
So what does it do?
**********************
Well to start with you can just use it as ball to be pushed around on the floor if you like, my little girl loves...
