Ilford - not an area in Essex, a photographic company, founded in 1879 and providing black and white photographic paraphernalia ever since.
This is an opinion on all Ilford's black and white still films, so, in iso film speed ascending order, let us begin:
*PAN F PLUS
This is a 50 iso film and my favorite of the lot. It has ultra fine grain, absolutely brilliant definition and a pretty good tonal range. I know it's not often that you find yourself ... ...charming film for still lifes, architecture and some punchy portraiture. A tripod is a must if you are using this in less than sparkling light, and enlarging from these negatives is so easy; The grain is tiny and shouldn't give you any problems up past 16x20 inches (do you need your pictures any bigger?). If you are looking for a cheap alternative to copying film, Pan F Plus will do the trick (remember though that the copying film is a little slower, ...

Advantages: Small and compact, high quality Disadvantages: Poor lighting at night and tape noise
...the transport noise from the tape. easily removed on the PC though.
This camera has built in effects so you can merge films and perform transitions. i haven't used this feature much as i generaly use a PC.
The camera has various preset options to film. In auto is normally fine but sometimes you just need those extra features.
The camera has an accesory shoe for an extra light to be added its abot 60 quid though and a microphone.
A remote control is included with all the features of the actual camera which can be used from quite a distance away.
For ease of use this camera is simple within an hour you can film like a pro. it's simply one button to switch on and off, one to stop start recording and a little toggle button for the zoom. the camera is auto focus or manual focus.
The camera has various connections most are supplied...

Advantages: Very sturdy; Great picture quality; Price Disadvantages: Microphone is awful; Eats batteries; Slightly fiddly buttons
...After a long time wondering about getting a small video camera to film my various cycling 'adventures', but being put off by the cost and size of many cameras, I hit upon the Actioncam ATC-2000 and immediately saw it as a solution I had been waiting for.
My hopes for an easy to use and generally high quality picture have, for the most part, been realised - although that's not to say there aren't a few niggles which hold this product back from being perfect.
The unit itself is completely self-contained. In some cameras a separate battery pack, or recording unit, has to be carried on your body, while the camera itself is mounted wherever you want it. With this camera everything is housed within the 11cm long body - there are no cables to wire around yourself, and no separate pieces to find a home for.
This makes for a nicely...

...~ Introduction ~
Around a year ago, I became a little fed up with the process of getting camerafilm developed and the associated costs, so I decided that it was time that I got with the times and went searching through various catalogues and shops for a digital camera that would suit my requirements and expectations.
As most of us know, with traditional photography, we first have to buy the camerafilm that typically consists of 24 pictures and when we have taken all of our 24 snaps we have can then get our film developed at additional various cost depending on how soon we want the pictures to be developed.
It took me literally days to decide on which camera to buy – I took time looking at the specifications and features of a number of cameras that were on the market at the time and eventually decided on the Kodak DC3400...
