I first stared using Viking Direct as the secretary of a small local society, as a convenient way of purchaisng essentials such as envelopes and printer cartridges. As time has gone on and I have started my own small business, it has become a godsend !
The Viking catalogue covers all manner of office equipment, from stationary and supplies to hardware and office furniture. Although I have not used the latter, I believe that they will also assemble any furniture orders on delivery- which makes a pleasant change from the flat pack.
Viking deliver the next working day, although there is a small surcharge for orders under £30. However, I have found it easy to make this limit by adding sundries such as black bin liners, cleaning products or even coffee and tea in bulk- things I would not necessarily usually order from an office supplier.
I have rarely had any problems with Viking deliveries, and when I have the customer service team have been very efficient and called me back to ensure that the problem has been resolved.
A particular strength of the Viking catalogue is their own brand ranges- especially printer cartridges, which I have always found an ideal substitute for expensive branded cartridges.
In short, as a small businessman, I recommend that a copy of the viking catalogue is in every similar trader's filing cabinet or in your favourites folder !
