I am the senior administrator at my company, and since working here I have been contacted by so many stationary companies offering 'bargins' and 'value for money' and in my company - thats the most important thing, we do a big order of stationary every week, and every few weeks we buy furniture and a vast amount of cleaning product.
Due to different companies being able to put offers on different products, my company have an account with 2 companies, one company is our main one, we order our envelopes, paper, pens etc from them,
The other company is Viking, I discovered Viking whilst looking for a product that our usual company didn't do, i surfed the internet for the product (some postal tubing) and Viking was first in the search results, and when checked against other internet companies, Viking offered the best deal.
Their website was easy to use, and it offers a home section and an office section, so it is easier to find the type of products that you want.
The site has a simple search engine within the website, so that it is easier to search for products using keywords or descriptions.
The website also displays all of the offers on each product clearly.
After ordering the Tubing, it was delivered promptly, along with a catalogue for the company. After looking through this catalogue i realised that although they do not offer the same amount of products and variety as our usual stationary company, Viking do sell furniture miles cheaper than our other company, Due to Viking, we have saved hundreds of pounds, by using the company to purchase, a fridge,(which was 100 pounds cheaper than elsewhere) filing cabinets (we saved at least 200 on these.) We have bought chairs and a photocopier from Viking and been pleased with the product and the saving each time.
I always use the website to make orders, you can create your own username and password, and have a shopping trolley that you can go back to and then add to.
Buying is easy and nectar points can be added through the website.
The website is easy to navigate around, and it is not filled with advertisments which make the site messy and confusing, the layout is simple and it is easy to find what you are looking for.
The site conatins all of the products from the catalogue and gives a complete description of the product also with a clear picture which you can zoom in to, to make sure that you are buying the correct product.
I have had no problem with the security of the site, and i have never had a pop up appear when i am browsing through the site. This is a big bonus, as these can be annoying and would make the process of ordering unpleasant and eventually put me off of the company.
I have also found that the customer service through the website and email is completely efficient, and the response from the customer service team is always within 24 hours.
This is a good company, as previously stated, it is not our primary stationary company, however, without Viking, we would have spent 100's of unneccessary pounds on furniture.
