Virgin began in the 1970s with a student magazine and small mail order record company. Their growth since then has been impressively fast. One look at there website at: www.virgin.com, tells it all.
They cover so many different products and services. However unlike other websites, all the products and services are under one umbrella. The Virgin Group Umbrella.
In some ways this is good as everything can be consolidated and done faster. On the other hand this may lead to complacency by some users and therefore they might miss out on better offers elsewhere.
The range of products and services covered are very vast and although I would like to elaborate on them all, I don’t think this would have been advisable otherwise this opinion would be everlasting. Therefore I will list the various categories and products/services offered under these categories, for easy reference.
Once on the Virgin homepage, all the links for products and services are on the left hand side of the screen. All links for the various Virgin companies are on the right hand side. In the middle of the page is a Java Applet that will load the relative information once a link has been clicked. Once you place your mouse over a product or service then the relative Virgin Group companies, mentioned on the right hand side of the page, are highlighted.

They will shortly be launching a Free e-mail service (V-Mail).
They will also soon be launching something that they call V-Wallet This they claim will make it easier and safer to shop online. Once you register your details once with Virgin.com, and then whenever you visit any Virgin website your v.wallet will, if you want, fill out any forms with all your personal details including delivery/billing addresses, credit card and other personal details, automatically and securely. This will also enable you to have a single receipt for all your on-line Virgin purchases.
It goes without question that Virgin are a dynamic and well reputed company and presently is the third most recognized brand in Britain.They operate 200 companies worldwide, employ 25,000 people and had sales of £3 billion pounds.
Overall I was quite pleased with the site and the services and products offered and highly recommend this to all members.
