Advantages: They do pay, easy (& interesting) surveys to complete, money for sitting on your butt! Disadvantages: System can be abused, sometimes infrequent
(Update at end) I was so pleased to see the postman today – not only is he quite cute (!); he also brought me (probably the world’s keenest shopaholic) some shopping vouchers! This site is so easy to sign up for – all those who haven’t yet done so should go off and do it now! If you don’t know about Visitor Friendly ... ...don’t read many opinions – either way it will be worth your while to spend the 2 minutes needed to sign up. Advantages: £20.00 an hour do you need any more advantages. Disadvantages: You could be waiting months to receive an invitation to a survey.
UPDATE: Just a quick update to let you know I have just checked my bank account, and noticed a nice £30 deposited in off Visitorfriendly, so the DO pay. And to think that was just for doing a couple of surveys, that took me around 45 minutes each (if that).
NOW BACK TO THE ORIGINAL OPINION:
Yes, its true I earned £15.00 for around 45 minutes work (if that), which works out at £20 per hour, and alls it included was reviewing a set of web sites and ... ...Problems, etc, then sending it off.
I had actually been a member of “Visitor Friendly” for quite a while, and the only thing I had heard from them was the one email, offering me a survey to complete, but when I got there I was not eligible. So I had pretty much given up, thinking that they probably required a more compatible audience than myself.
But a few weeks back, I was offered the chance to review five web sites, one was HSBC Bank (to whom ...

...site is for you.
Visitorfriendly.com is a kind of mystery shopping site. The basic idea is that companies will pay money to access a database of "reviewers" who exist to provide open and honest reviews of web based activities.

As an e-tailer or website owner this method of customer feedback has to be beneficial. You have access to unbiased reporting tailored ...

Visitor friendly is a MYSTERY SHOPPER site where you get paid for each survey you complete. But if you are expecting easy money think again! The rewards are not too bad, but you do have to work for it!
You register on the site which involves filling in a form including: Your and address, E-mail address, Telephone number, how you access the Internet, employment details, and more.
Once enrolled you basically sit back and wait for your first mystery ... ...a while before I was offered my first one. Now please bear in mind the quality of your review must be of very high quality, as the site states ‘they will reject reviews not up to standard”, which means no money for you. For instance: if they ask you “Why do you write on Ciao?” You may answer either of the following 1) For the money 2) For pleasure 3) For both. But in visitor friendly that would NOT be acceptable. You’d ...

...as I have never commissioned VisitorFriendly.com to do any work – I can therefore only comment as a mystery shopper.
I signed up as a “Visitor” in January of this year, prompted by an opinion here on Ciao. Registration was simple and I was advised that I would be mailed details of any surveys for which I was eligible as and when they occurred. There is no information on the web site regarding what surveys are currently available ... ...it be viewed as such. VisitorFriendly.com are attempting to offer a quality service to their clients – if surveys are incomplete, incorrect or of a poor standard they simply won’t pay you. Furthermore, members who complete good quality surveys will attract more assignments – those who do not will not.
My first survey was on a web site for medical supplies. To be fair, this is completely outside my professional expertise, but I ...
