It has a good balance of men and women, unlike some biker sites which can be overwhelmingly blokey, or, if women-orientated, rather too frilly.

For example, someone recently caused an upset by obsessively posting about how she kept a dog locked up all day, which outraged the animal lovers on the site. Thankfully, she's now left.
So all I can say is, if you ride, or are interested in motorcycling, try it. You'll soon know if it's for you, and if so, you'll be addicted, just like me.
I'm a member of several motorcycle chat sites.
If you are a female biker, visordown is not the site to join.
The men on there are insulting animals who still believe women should be at home chained to the kitchen sink!!!
But having said that, there are a small minority who are pleasant to females.
I have taken a lot of offence by the threads and I've also, wrote some nasty ones back.
This day and age, women shouldn't have to put up with such ...
