Quality Groceries to Your Doorstep

AdvantagesConvenience and high quality

DisadvantagesTwo-hour delivery slots

"I have been a regular customer of Waitrose for several years now, as there has always been a branch near my place of work or my home, and the quality and range of their food is difficult to improve upon. Some people find them expensive, but they have a good selection of special offers each month, and quite a few products are competitively priced, such as Southern Gold Orange or Apple Juice, Southgate eggs and Waitrose Sunflower Spread. It's worth ..." Read review

Free Technical Support

AdvantagesFree Technical support and no connection problems

DisadvantagesNone

"Waitrose was my first ISP. I chose it when I was first going on line. The main reason being I did not know very much about the internet and was worried that I would make a complete hash of it and then need to use a technical support line (being a free tech support was the main factor that I chose this). You would have laughed if you had seen me sitting at home with loads of ISP CD’s, reading all the literature and trying to work out the pros ..." Read review

A very good free e-mail service

AdvantagesGreat ISP, Unlimited E-Mails and they donate profits to charity

DisadvantagesDon't have a Waitrose in my area so online shopping is a non starter for me

"...all is that by using Waitrose.com as your Internet Service Provider, you will also be helping to raise money for good causes - including The British Heart Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Relief, The Prince's Trust and The British Red Cross. You can vote online for which charity you would like to support. " Their ISP and mail service is excellent. I havent tried using online shopping as I live "oop north" as they say and we don't have posh shops like ..." Read review

Apalling from start to finish

AdvantagesNone. Geniunely. Unless you consider frustration an advantage.

DisadvantagesAwful customer service, bad delivery, incompetence, dishonesty, terrible website

"...Waitrose, I thought I'd give Waitrose.com a go and see how it works. Well, in short, it's absolutely terrible. In every way from start to finish. The website is awful. It's slow and difficult to navigate. The search is poor and the way that offers and products are presented is shockingly bad. It was a really object lesson in perseverance to get the order entered and placed. The delivery windows are nonsense. You have to select a 2 hour window ..." Read review

Waitrosedelivers.com REALLY delivers

AdvantagesA brilliant on-line food store that delivers in real life

DisadvantagesYou may spend too much; not yet available everywhere in the country

"I have been a customer of the on-line grocery service of Waitrose since it started from the Petersfield store about about a year ago. As I have an invalid mother to care for, as well as small children, I am virtually house-bound and on-line grocery shopping was heaven sent. I tried both Tesco and Sainsbury, without too much enthusiasm. When Waitrose started in my area, I was sceptical. Well, I was wrong to be sceptical. The service is nothing ..." Read review
