I bought my top of the line warranty from these people at the beginning of September 2007 hoping that it would cover me for major repairs for my car. I had to pay extra because I wanted my car dealt with at a franchised dealer, rather than at any other VAT registered garage.

Boy, was I wrong. When I took my car to the dealer to have a look because I noticed some things wrong, I was told that they had been informed by Warranty Direct that they could go ahead with the repairs. However, when it came to claiming the money back from them it was a different story. They claimed that all the items changed were wear and tear. This included two electrical fan units and a coolant tank. How is a coolant tank wear and tear.

Stay away from these people and buy a warranty from your dealer instead.
