Our BMW X5 needs a new Automatic Gearbox, Turbo, Diesel Injectors and a cooling fan. Luckily for us I had recently renewed my warranty with Warranty Direct. Last year I also needed a lot of work on the car all was paid by WD costing over £1,000 - My warranty cost £400 last year and this year cost £425. The latest repair is going to cost about £5,000 and it is all covered (WD have even managed to get BMW to pay some of the bill as well). The claims department do a great job and are always very helpful. With a WD policy you can choose to take your car either to a main dealer or one of their network garages and the price is reflected in your choice. From what I know of WD they offer a great service and they only question claims that happen soon after taking out a policy and even then they treat you fairly. All in all WD are great.
