...your wash, you add the Wash It Ball directly to the machine, on top of your laundry. You switch on and select the cycle as normal, and the Wash It Ball then proceeds to clean your clothes in the way any other laundry aid would. However unlike these it is reusable and should last for about 80 1-hour washes. My standard wash is 30 minutes, so I should get 160 hours or just over 3 YEARS of use from it. This is a phenomenal saving on laundry products ... ...to Ariel Tablets (20p per wash based on Tesco prices) or even Tesco's own (16p) and you can see the saving to be made on detergents alone, ignoring the fact you also now no longer need fabric softeners. Using a Wash It Ball also saves you lugging heavy detergent home from the supermarket since you need just one ball which weighs only a few grames. You also know you'll not run out any time soon given the lifespan of the product. In addition it's easy ...

Wash-It and Go! Review ofwash it laundry Ballby

Advantages: Works very well on coloured items Disadvantages: not always so good on whites
...that well before you reach wash number 100, the Wash-It Laundry Ball has more than paid for itself several times over. "You can save a fortune on powder" points out my wife.
There are no harsh detergents to fade colours or to damage fibres. And no chemicals to be deposited in the garments to cause allergic reactions. It is also beneficial to the environment as there are no chemicals to be washed into our already overworked sewage system and to potentially ...

Advantages: Very kind to the skin Disadvantages: not brilliant on all stains or whites
...wore approx twice using this Wash ball I found that after constant use on his clothes His skin improved and I did not have to resort to creams from the doctor at all and even was able to cut down on the homeopathic remedy prescribed for him.
This ball is very good for every day washing BUT does not get all stains out and I found the best thing to do was to wash occasionally in a biological powder and then wash again two or three times to revmove ... ...wash twice afterwards. Generally though I have been impressed with the effectiveness of this product and would shout its recommendation from the rooftop as it really helped my son skin.
Price wise it is cheaper than detergent as it costs approx £7.99 and last about 100 washes it is available from lakeland ltd ...

Quick review of wash it laundry Ball Review ofwash it laundry Ballby
vids
I've long been concerned about the impact on our health and the environment of chemical products and have tried a couple of eco-friendly ones. However, some eco-friendly ones are not that easy to rinse off and I just don't like my laundry feeling slimy/slippery, harmful or not. This product addresses all my concerns. It cleans well, doesn't leave chemical residuals or fragrance that can choke some people and damange health. The laundry comes out clean and soft (no softener needed). On a more practical note, it works out cheaper than ordinary products. One word of caution: it may irritate sensitive skin if it's not removed before the rinse cycle. It's not hypoallergic as suggested.

Advantages: Good cleaning for tough fabrics, non-polluting Disadvantages: No use for delicates, noisy in use
...I have wondered about trying eco-balls for a while, but was initially put off by the cost. On talking it over with my better half, we decided that it was worth a try, so I did a search on the web for a stockist. I ended up buying my eco-balls from a site called EcoHamster! (http://www.ecohamster.co.uk)
EcoHamster sells the set of 3 eco-balls for £27.52: I decided to order their 'super saving pack' containing the Ecoballs plus a Kitchen / Bathroom Pack (2 cleaning cloths) and a Toilet Descaler (a magnetic ring that you pop into the cistern) at £34.98. I will try to review these other products at some time.
Here is some product information from the website:
"Replace traditional laundry powder in your washing machine and save money in the process.
"Ecoballs® are simple to use, effective and economical - costing around 3 pence...

Advantages: Eco Friendly for your dirty stuff Disadvantages: Not in all supermarkets
...; I Feel Putty, Oh So Putty ₪
As a laundry maid with sensitive hands, I absolutely hate having to deal with any washing detergents that might spill on my hands and make them itch. These putty balls are great because the washing ingredients are contained in a soft wrapper which dissolves in the machine. You simply take a couple out of the (completely recyclable card & plastic) tub of 30 balls, squidge them because you just have to, and chuck them in with your washing.
Simply Sensitive and Simply Active are the first UK detergents to be granted the EU Eco Label. They have also been approved by the Vegan Society. I cannot help but smirk at this, do vegans eat them for extra cleansing? (no offence Vegan readers).
One small drawback is that the tub has one of those horrible plastic rims to break into. I often seem to manage to cut...

Advantages: Excellent on whites and difficult stains Disadvantages: fairly expensive compared to ordinary bleach
...?
ACE is safe bleach for all you’re washing needs and is even approved by United Colors of Benetton and Woolmark an accolade not even achieved by many of our daily laundry cleaners!
It is unlike our usual bleach that it is blue in colour, it also has a pleasant floral fragrance which in itself is a vast improvement from the choking chlorine fumes of Domestos and other big name brands.
How To Use:
When ACE was 1st launched every bottle had a dosing ball with it, I have a stock to last a lifetime, as the ball was available for almost a year. The ball is like the usual ones we see these days and has measurements up to 100ml’s measured on the side, this is how much ACE is to be used with a regular load of laundry. If you start to buy ACE and don’t receive a dosing ball you can phone the free phone number quoted...
