Excellent Dedicated servers @ Webfusion

Advantages Excellent support, swift setup and good advice.
Disadvantages Self managed (unmanaged OS), is exactly as it says on the tin. No good for us.
I've used Webfusion's Dedicated servers for over four years now. On signing up I was concerned initially regarding hand over because we had an immediate requirement to run a number of sites for a new client (scary stuff considering we were an upstart back then) we needed it quickly and we were told a dedicated server would be the best bet by our customer, we're developers, not technicians but they wanted us to handle it so I said we would.
In short, we've never looked back. The sales team were helpful and although we considered that we only needed a single server they insisted that they review our requirements first, we had explained we were new to it all so we were glad of the help. After a couple of calls with one of their technical guys they recommended a two server solution with some replication, a firewall and a backup on the understating that that we could build upon it later should we take on more sites (which we have and continue to do to this day).
We now have a number of servers with load balancing, DB replication, storage and failover firewalls. We've also grown the backups and hold a considerable amount of data. The support team are extremely helpful, not only resolving our issues but helping also with the initial setup, as well as suggesting improvements after we had been there for a couple of years.
We have had issues of course both with the server - twice when it was patched (we needed to roll back as it a affected our code but the support team managed to work around them) and also a billing issue (when our credit card lapsed) but we've always felt 'looked after', especially by our account manager and the support guys who call us if there's an issue rather than us having to call them. They make it easy for us and we just concentrate on the content. I can only recommend them.
N.B. I'd always recommend a call after raising a ticket... much quicker turn around, it's a bit of a cheat but they deal with tickets immediately if you call with the reference.Detailed Rating
