most of the links are in fact external web sites, so you start in one place and end up in something completely different. in saying that though once you start ... ...the aloud.com site is great for finding out where bands are touring, festivals and any other music events. you also have the option of buying online or phoning through your order for your tickets.

it's fine if there's a lot going on where you live, and the travel section is useful as well. it's a bit confusing to begin with as you start off at one web site and then seem to be travelling all over the place after that. the web sites used though are informative and comprehensive, but i'm not convinced of the overall value of having a site like this.
Advantages: Good, robust, up to date. Disadvantages: The screen is very busy.
Whatsnew.com is listed under the Ciao hierarchy as a search engine and that’s rather unfair because, as a search engine, it is no good at all. Whatsnew.com is a very good portal to entertainment and travel sites. I very rarely bother going to events that require planning and the pre-booking of tickets because I don’t like the hassle. Yes, I’m a lazy sod. However, even lazy bones like me will be able to use the easy features of Whatsnew.com.
Something ... ...is to say, it will link you to other sites. For example, an entertainment search on your city will take you to any given page. I live in Edinburgh ergo I search for events in Edinburgh and end up on Aloud.com. Fortunately, Aloud.com is a pretty good site as well and so there’s no trouble. ...
