Winamp is a popular MP3 player. I went to check out Winamp because it came highly recommended by friends (friends with much Information Technology know-how) who told me it the was best possible player for MP3 and for running your CDs off your computer. This program is very easy to use, and you will get use to it straight away. This program is capable of playing WAV, MP3, MP2, MP1, WMA, MIDI etc files. Winamp is the best mp3 Player available. It lets you download skins, it is free, no adverts, Graphic equaliser and it supports many other audio formats also. It is also supported very well by the winamp.com site with regular updates and free MP3s. The player itself is a relatively small download and easy to install. Win amp is now up to version 2.666 which now has fixes. The player is also very easy for novices but with plugins experts can do whatever they want with the music.
